Holiday Nights at the Palm Beach Zoo

Palm Beach Zoo has a new event this year!  With the help of FPL the Zoo will be hosting Holiday Nights.  I am very excited about this one, because if you have never had a chance to walk the Zoo at night you are in for a treat!  It is the most amazing and beautiful place after dark and with the addition of Christmas lights.....well......I am thinking this is going to become a tradition for my family!

Kids will be able to visit Santa's Winter Wonderland for cookies and cocoa, there will be music in the Fountain area, crafts for the kids, special animal encounters throughout the Zoo and the Big Red Guy himself will be there to find out what the animals (and kids) want for the holidays!

Friday, December 17th will be the official lighting of the zoo and Florida Power and light is asking that vistors bring in food donations to be given to a local food pantry.  The first 100 visitors who bring in a food donation will receive a brand new strand of energy efficient LED lights courtesy of FPL!  You know I could use those to replace my hundred year old inefficient light strands!

Admission is $10.95 for Adults, $6.95 for Children 3 and up and there is a discount for members.  The event will be held December 17th -23rd from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Check back to see pics and find out more after December 17th for the full review!
