Resource Depot and the Annual Evening for the Earth Celebration.

When i worked at the Zoo (a nonprofit organization) the Resource Depot was my best source for crafts for summer camp.  I know it is also a favorite for teachers!  Teachers and Non Profits can shop there for free and get all kinds of donated used materials that can be turned into fabulous crafts and activities for kids!  So I wanted to post this for them!  This is a great service and one that most Palm Beach County kids benefit from and probably don't even know it!  All you have to do is go to the mall and ride the merry-go-round!

  1. I am an outreach educator with a local not for profit.I go into most of the schools in Palm Beach County to do programs. The Resource Depot is the most amazing place ever for educators! I am forever lugging stuff into the Depot and watching people take stuff I normally would have thrown out to make into something creative and wonderful. Children need to express themselves and the Depot is not only a re-use center, their educators are out in the field at events and schools doing all kinds of exciting things. The Resource Depot is the place where educators from schools, churches, and any not for profit organization dealing with our children can find the materials they need to supplement an otherwise limited budget! I am a strong supporter of limited waste and creativity! Resource Depot is a place to up-cycle (new word, don't you love it?) things you'd throw out or take items for some amazing project you normally couldn't afford to do! Come ride the merry-go-round with me! See our schools in action, help support the Depot and help support an organization supporting our children! See you on the 12th!
