City of Fort Lauderdales' Great American Beach Party

The Beach Party will be held May 28th for the second time, from 11 am to 10 pm on the beach near A1A and Las Olas Blvd.

This free event will feature live performances, face painting, hula hoop, limbo and twister contests, water balloon toss, a sand castle building competition, a Classic Car Show, and a special historical area featuring nostalgic photo's, artwork and collectibles.

In the evening there will be a special screening of Girl Happy  by the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival on a huge screen on the beach off the corner of A1A and Las Olas Blvd.
