- Cynthia Yates Buckley has over a decade of experience as an Educator, Zoological Educator, Animal Handler, and Curriculum Developer. She worked for 6 years at the Palm Beach Zoo where she was promoted to Education Manager. She was responsible for training staff and volunteers in animal handling, presentation, curriculum development and zookeeping. Cynthia has developed and presented classes, workshops, and programs for home school groups, Scout Groups, USDA , Florida Association of Zoological Educators, school groups, and toddlers. She has been a Circus (aerial) Instructor and a Swim Teacher. Her hobbies include writing, photography, hiking, and animal behavioral training. She has BA from Florida Atlantic University in Arts and Humanities with her major studies in Elementary Education. She currently resides in South Florida with her husband and two year old daughter.
