There will be a Free Parade and Festival Downtown Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, March 12, 2011.  It will encompase St. Patty's Day and the City's Centennial Celebration at the Cornor of Las Olas Blvd and Andrews Ave where a team of Para-commandos will parachute into the park to officially kick off the festival!


There will be a kids zone with lots of activities for the kiddo's and lots of Irish food and drinks.  There will also be a Parade that will travel along Las Olas Blvd from SE 8th Ave  to Huizenga Plaza at noon.  You will know when the parade is about to begin by the United States Coast Guard helicopter flyover!

The St. Patrick's Day Parade and Centennial Celebration will be held at Huizenga Plaza and along the Riverwalk from 1:30-9:00 pm.
